Dreamwidth: No Ads

although Dreamwidth doesn't have all of the features Livejournal has (i'm sure
it will at some point, if they stick around/don't sell to someone who then sells
to Russians/&c.), one of the things i really like is that they don't put adverts
on their free accounts.  ads aren't a problem for me, since i'm incredibly rich,
and have solid gold paid accounts like poor people have collection notices, but
the Dreamwidth account is currently not paid (i'm waiting for a certain
planetary alignment), and it's nice not seeing adverts all over it.  this must
be what the opposite of what all you non-paidees (as we call you in the
business) complain about feels like.  it's like sleeping in gold dust.
