LJ Drama: A New Day in a New Town

i haven't jumped ship just yet- my LJ paid account runs through December, and i'm waiting to see what happens. a lot of people are up in arms over the facebook thing, apparently. we'll see what happens.

A lot of users are reacting with apathy, but I guess I'm an older member who remembers what lj was like, without ads and crap!

i never see the ads, since i'm paid. i dont know as many people on LJ, though, since most left for facebook or wotever stupid thing i havent managed to care about... but, i'll go to where-ever the old standbys go. if you guys move to DW, i'll move to DW.

I have a paid account too, I think I've had one since 2004, if not 2003 when I started, I think that was before any ads of any kind at all.

I have a facebook and a myspace, but they really are for social networking and not showing fanwork, comics, movies and stuff, it tends to get lost.

i like the feel of DW at least. i'm a fan of journals, and i kind of hate facebook and myspace.
